It was nice comfy base for travelling to Porthmadog, I was glad to stay there. A microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge were available, in case you cook. It had a stunning and incredible setting next to the magnificent castles and the Marina.

We had a COMFORTABLE stay in Porthmadog just off the Marina, the magnificent castles and North Wales. Location was great and stunning - easy access to Ogwyn Cottage.

I keep coming back to this place because it's perfect for me. They helped with local food delivery, which I still remember. It has Wi-Fi, free parking, an electric kettle, and offers cycling, fishing, golf. Plus, pets are allowed and no smoking on-site. I'll be back for New Year.

During my recent visit to Porthmadog, I had the opportunity to stay at Captain's Bank. This charming apartment proved to be the perfect choice for a transit stay during my travels. One of the standout features of this accommodation was its convenient location. Situated just 70 km away from the nearest airport, it provided easy accessibility for those arriving by air. This proximity greatly eased the stress of travel and ensured a smooth transition to and from the apartment.

While my overall stay at Captain's Bank was pleasant, I did encounter a minor inconvenience. The lack of a full toilet paper roll indicated that it may have been a remnant from previous visitors.

Stunning views from the front door, beautiful beaches close by, and a wonderful coastal path to Black Rock Sands. The walk-in shower was like a cave and provided an amazing experience. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Ideal location for traveling around North Wales.

The spacious and modern ground floor apartment had everything we needed and the management company was incredibly prompt and helpful in dealing with any issues. The walk-in shower was jaw-dropping, like a cave! The decor was beautifully coordinated and the apartment had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The ideal location for exploring North Wales and the nearby Snowdonian National Park, and a short walk from the main shopping street. We also loved the great views and the well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. Plus, the free parking and access to activities like cycling, fishing, and golf courses was a bonus.
